About Us
The Rehab License Network was born out of frustration with state boards across the nation with a goal of standardizing access to the information and to make it easier to disseminate what every rehab professional would need to help obtain and maintain their license.
While rehab professionals have to take national standardized tests, each state is left to regulate licensure and standards required to practice. Every state board has different requirements and protocols related to their application and renewal processes.
We understand and appreciate all of the individuals who work at the state licensing agencies and wanted a way for rehab professionals to be able to work with the agencies easier by giving them the basic information that differs from state to state. By providing rehab professionals with this information it could actually help with the application and renewal process.
It is one of our goals to make sure Rehab Professionals have all the information they need to be proactive in the licensure process and their career. By providing information about Continuing Education, Universities, and Associations we hope to encourage active participation in their profession, and minimize the number of inactive licenses. By providing information to access their senators and congressmen we hope they actively participate in any laws that might affect their profession. By providing demographic information in every state we want rehab professionals to have the knowledge to make better career decisions. By providing the opportunity for professionals to give feedback on the state boards perhaps they will be able to help their fellow professionals.
Providing this information is also intended to help employers and human resource professionals by making sure rehab professionals meet and are able to maintain the standards of their licenses.
